Using Visual Studio 2013 with Windows Azure
Visual Studio 2013 includes support for several new and existing features that you can use with Windows Azure. In addition, the Windows Azure SDK for .NET 2.2 is fully compatible with Visual Studio 2013. This article provides links to help you get started with the SDK. It also includes guidance for users who are upgrading from the Preview or RC version of Visual Studio 2013 to the release version.

If you have Visual Studio 2013 Preview or Visual Studio 2013 RC installed, you may need to upgrade to the release version before installing the .NET SDK 2.2.
- If you have only Visual Studio Express 2013 Preview for Web or Visual Studio Express 2013 RC for Web installed, you will be upgrade automatically when you run the SDK installer.
- If you have other Preview or RC versions installed (either instead of or in addition to Express for Web), you will need to upgrade before installing.
