We provide technical support for all Windows Azure services released to General Availability, including SQL Database Web and Business Editions, through Windows Azure Support, starting at $29/month. SQL Database Premium is currently in Preview and supported for those with paid support plans; all customers may also turn to the community forums for support of any Preview service. Billing and subscription management support is provided at no cost.
For SQL Database Web and Business Editions, we guarantee at least 99.9% of the time customers will have connectivity between SQL Database and our Internet gateway. We do not provide any SLA for SQL Database Premium during preview. SLA calculations are based on an average over a monthly billing cycle, with 5-minute time intervals. An interval is marked as unavailable if the customer’s attempts to connect to a database are rejected by the SQL Database gateway. To learn more about our SLA, please visit the SLA page.
